Hi my dear journaling friend,

After a period of silence - life threw me some curve balls, as life often does - I felt my energy coming back, the familiar itch of wanting to create beautiful things and I welcomed that feeling. My computer became my trusted friend.

Writing about Ember and creating a journal

In the first weeks there were hours of writing - stories about Ember, a young woman who becomes the village herb lady that people turn to with their ailments. Not only words flowed from my pen, I also created beautiful illustrations, design papers to embellish the handmade journal I use to document Ember's journey. Some of that process I documented in a few video's on my YouTube channel (a link is at the end of this email). Just as the words flowed for Ember, the images and illustrations came to life to enrich her story.

Creating junk journal papers

With the weeks passing by I felt that I wanted to create even more illustrations & papers and that is was time to share them with you again, like I used to do a few years ago. It took me some time to figure out the logistics of that, because I wanted I completely fresh start. And now I'm proud to present you:
